About the Programme

All About the Youth is presented by the Pacific Training Institute Youth team. The programme is full of contemporary music, live interviews with tutors and other students discussing youth issues – peer pressure, alcohol and drugs, education and fun-learning.

They have a vested interest in local 'role models' whom they hope to interview – sports-people, entertainers, business people, policemen, lawyers, doctors – all of which will encourage other youth listeners.

PTI youth are unique individuals who have felt that the current 'school system' was not suited to them and their particular style of learning. They come from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds and have a range of creative talents of singing, playing musical instruments, dancing and public speaking.

PTI youth have stories to tell that are unique to them but which possess a 'street-wise' flavour. They are hoping to develop an interested youth audience who will be able to relate to them and their discussions.

All About the Youth hopes to be interesting, informative, educational and fun!
