LADYFEST is back and she’s bigger and badder than EVER! From the Thursday 3rd to Saturday 5th of December 2009. This year’s fest features KEVIN BLECHDOM and her band BARNWAVE!!! All the way from Tallahassee Florida, courtesy of Chicks On Speed Records, this is one high tech country and ragtime band not to be missed! As for the rest of the lineup… Festivities kick off on Thursday at DAF106 Gallery on Aro Street with the Ladyfest Exhibition “The Is Not A Rockshop”, starting at 6pm. Then on Friday night at Mighty Mighty, from 8pm sharp are: The Sami Sisters (AK), Piece War (AK), Diana Rozz (WGTN), The Hairdo’s (AK), Coco Solid (AK) and Full Fucking Moon (WGTN).

Rolling in to Saturday we have the Ladyfest Zine and Craft Market from 1 - 5 pm at The Cross on Able Smith Street... and it's free! Then move it along later that night to NZ’s first ever Inter-League Roller Derby at The TSB Arena 6pm! =After that the shenanigans continue up at Mighty Mighty at 8.30 pm sharp, featuring: Hissyfit (AK), Lo-Liners (CHCH), Moron Says What?! (AK), Cult Of The Cobra and KEVIN BLECHDOM ft. BARNWAVE (U.S)!
