About the Programme

Ragam Musik Indonesia (originally called Siaran Bahasa Indonesia) has been running since 1997. It is sponsored by the Indonesian Embassy and New Zealand Indonesia Association (NZIA) Wellington.

Since 2003, Budi Putra has hosted the programme. The programme is filled with a variety of Indonesian songs including pop and traditional songs from different ethnic groups in Indonesia.

There’s also news and current information, with notices from the Indonesian Embassy and community in Wellington.

Ragam Musik Indonesia is broadcast in the Indonesia language (Bahasa Indonesia) on Saturday at 4.30pm every four weeks.
